A group of organizations and individuals who petitioned the federal government to reschedule cannabis nearly nine years ago are now suing the federal government for their delay on a response to the petition. Their lawsuit requests 60 days for a decision or declaration of intent of a decision from the DEA. The groups involved are listed below: The Coalition to Reschedule Cannabis (“CRC”) Americans for Safe Access (“ASA”), Patients out of Time (“POT”), William Britt, Kathy Jordan, Michael Kravitz, and Rick Steeb

1 Response to Advocacy groups and patients suing fed gvnmt to respond to 9 year old petition to reschedule cannabis under the CSA

  1. Actually, John Gettman filed the first petition to reschedule. He is a former head of NORML and I believe he filed it right after his stint in D.C. as director. Great guy, lawyer, though I won’t hold that against him in this case.
